CFK Summer Studio 2026 — Expanding Creative Access in Kalaw This May, Coming From Kalaw (CFK) opens its Art Space for a month-long summer programme of free workshops, in partnership with the European Union. Four workshops bring together artists, performers, dancers, and filmmakers to share their practice with the Kalaw community. All workshops are free of charge. Meals and transportation are provided. Workshop 1 — Creative & Expression Workshop With Artis-Hood: P Cube (Art educator), Kyi Min Khant (Dancer), JuMe (Vocalist), Zang (Musician / Beatboxer), and Hogu (Videographer). 4 – 5 May 2026 · 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM · Recommended for ages 10+ · 20 participants. Workshop 2 — Public Community Art Workshop With Southern Shan based artists Htein Lin, Zaw Myint Naing, Yeinn Kham, and Ko Thay. 7 – 10 May and 14 – 29 May 2026 · 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM · Recommended for ages 10+ · 15 participants. Workshop 3 — Flamenco Dance Workshop With Paola Santa Cruz, ending with a live performance on 22 May 2026. 18 – 22 May 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Recommended for ages 10+ · 15 participants · Meals, transportation, and shoes provided. Workshop 4 — Documentary Storytelling Workshop With Thaiddhi and Soe Moe Aung. 18 – 29 May 2026 · 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM · Recommended for ages 18+ · 15 participants.
