Eyesight

Now based in Kalaw, her paintings reveal a profound connection to the vivid hues of her surroundings. Her artistic vision is deeply intertwined with her personal journey: a rare eye condition that has gradually led to blindness.

Ek Kha Ya

Sai Thet Htwe was born in 1965 in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State. He began painting during his childhood and studied art in summer classes under the guidance of U Tin Win, his first and only mentor. Working primarily in oil, Sai Thet Htwe is best known for his expressive landscapes, particularly his paintings of clouds.
